Voice & Tone

We don't pitch retail.
We run it.

Onshelf sounds like the person who built the channel — not the person who wrote the deck. Confident, declarative, short. Numbers do the heavy lifting; lime does the rest.

Six principles.

01

Operators, not consultants.

We have shipped this. From the inside. Talk like someone who has had a P&L, not a slide template.

02

Declarative, not aspirational.

Say what we do. In present tense. No 'we aspire to', no 'we believe in', no 'on a mission to'.

03

Short sentences. Real verbs.

If a sentence has three commas, kill two. Cut adverbs. Lead with the verb.

04

Numbers on the table.

9 distribution centers. 4 regions. We say the number. Transparency is the brand.

05

Never logistics-orange.

We are a platform, not a freight forwarder. Avoid trucks, parcels, hard-hat clipart and brown corrugate.

06

The period is the punchline.

Use it. 'Made operational.' is the whole pitch. Resist the urge to add a sentence after.
